At Nicole Couronne, the answer depends on the piece. Some jewelry is in stock and ready to ship, while much of the collection is handcrafted to order. For made-to-order pieces, the typical timeline is 6–8 weeks from order to delivery.
The difference comes down to how the jewelry is made.
In Stock vs. Made to Order
You will find both throughout the Nicole Couronne collection.
In-stock pieces are already finished and ready to ship, typically within a few business days.
Made-to-order pieces begin their production process once your order is placed. Each is crafted in solid 14k gold, finished and inspected before being prepared for shipment.
The product page will tell you whether a piece is currently in stock or handcrafted to order. Because availability can change, we recommend checking the individual product page before ordering.
How Long Does Made-to-Order Jewelry Take?
For most Nicole Couronne made-to-order pieces, please allow approximately 6–8 weeks from the date of purchase to delivery.
The jewelry itself generally takes several weeks to make. Additional time is reserved for finishing, inspection, fulfillment and shipping. Certain designs may require more time than others depending on their construction, stones, enamel or other details.
If a product page lists a different timeline, the information on that page should be considered the most current estimate.
We would rather give you a realistic timeframe than promise a delivery date that does not allow for the work involved.
What Happens During Those Weeks?
A made-to-order piece is not simply waiting to be shipped. It is being made for your order.
The process begins with the jewelry itself: solid 14k gold is formed and finished, and stones, enamel or other details are added where the design requires them. Each piece then goes through final inspection before it is packed and prepared for delivery.
Every Nicole Couronne order arrives with a jewelry box and velvet pouch. Once your order ships, tracking information is sent by email, and a signature is required upon delivery for security.
We currently ship within the United States, with complimentary U.S. shipping.
The result is a piece that has been made, finished and prepared specifically for the order rather than pulled from months of excess inventory.
Made to Order Is Not the Same as Custom
The terms are sometimes used interchangeably, but they mean different things.
Made to order means that an existing Nicole Couronne design is produced after you place your order.
Pieces such as the Flor Signet Ring and the St. Delphinium Medallion Pendant Necklace are examples. The designs already exist within the collection and are then made in solid 14k gold for your order.
Custom jewelry involves creating an entirely new design for an individual client. Nicole Couronne does not currently offer custom design services.

Ordering Made-to-Order Jewelry as a Gift
Made-to-order jewelry can absolutely be given as a gift. It simply requires a little advance planning.
If the piece is marked made to order, allow approximately 6–8 weeks and, when possible, leave some additional room before an important date.
If a piece is marked in stock, it will be available to ship much sooner.
If you are working with a specific deadline, expedited production may be possible for select pieces for an additional fee. Please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm whether the piece and timing can be accommodated.

Why Nicole Couronne Makes Jewelry to Order
Nicole Couronne pieces are designed in solid 14k gold to be worn often and kept for years.
Producing much of the collection to order allows us to make jewelry in response to genuine demand rather than manufacturing large quantities in advance. It is a slower approach, but one that suits the materials and the nature of the collection.
For us, the wait is not separate from the jewelry. It is part of its making.

Six to eight weeks is our typical estimated window from order to delivery rather than a guaranteed delivery date. Production time varies by design, and the estimate also allows for finishing, inspection, fulfillment and shipping.
Do all Nicole Couronne pieces take 6–8 weeks?
No. Pieces marked in stock are already finished and ready to ship. Pieces marked made to order generally require approximately 6–8 weeks.
Can I rush a made-to-order piece?
In some cases. Expedited production may be available for select made-to-order pieces for an additional fee. Because availability and timing depend on the individual design and production schedule, expedited orders are arranged on a case-by-case basis.

Does Nicole Couronne offer custom jewelry?
Not at this time. Made to order means that we produce an existing Nicole Couronne design once it has been ordered rather than creating a new custom design.
